Dans ce travail nous avons fixé comme but l’analyse des contraintes au niveau de la prothèse totale de genou composée de deux implants, l’un fémoral et l’autre tibial.
Comme la zircone est une biocéramique présentant des propriétés analogues à celles de l’alumine nous nous sommes proposés de considérer la zircone comme matériau de l’insert fémoral et le UHMWPE comme matériau de l’implant tibial. En projetant la lumière sur la zircone puisque nous voulons l’investiguer pour juger sa ténacité. Il faut rappeler que la zircone comme l’alumine présente un inconvénient important qui est la fragilité.

Abstract :
In this work we fixed as aim the analysis of constraints at the level of the total prosthesis of knee consisted of two implants, femoral and tibial.
As the zircona is a bioceramic presenting properties similar to those of the alumina we suggested considering the zircona as building material of the femoral insert and the UHMWPE as building material of the tibial insert. By throwing light on the zircona because we want investigate it to judge the tenacity. It is necessary to remind that the zircona as the alumina presents an important inconvenience which is fragility.
